Themed Cocktail Nights: Disney Inspired Cocktails

Look…you all know the score, everybody loves Disney! If you don’t you’re clearly lying to yourself. Recently losing myself in a Disney marathon, I wanted to experiment by making themed cocktails. I asked my guests to choose a favourite character and the girls decided to release their inner princesses. I opted for the dark side and went for The Evil Queen! What’s a Disney movie without a villain, ay?! Let’s start with this bad apple first…

Disney Inspired Cocktails

Poisoned Apple – The Evil Queen 

25ml Absinthe
25ml Lime Juice
25ml Simple Syrup
115ml Water

Mix the absinthe, lime juice & simple syrup together
To complete the poison apple look serve in this cocktail in this skull glass
Fill with water and add ice, then stir
Garnish with slice of red apple

Whether you prefer Mulan or Cinderella, explore the enchanting world of the Disney princesses in the form of a delicious cocktail!


The Glass Slipper – Cinderella’s Cocktail

25ml Gin
12.5ml Simple Syrup
25ml Monin Blue Curacao Syrup
12.5ml Lemon Juice
Top up with prosecco

Add the gin, simple syrup, blue curacao and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker filled with ice
Shake until cool to touch
Strain mixture into Lal Wine Glasses to complete look
Top with prosecco
Rim with sugar to add ‘sparkle’

A Whole New World – Jasmine’s Cocktail

50ml White Rum
25ml Monin Blue Curacao Syrup
Top up with pineapple juice

Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker filled with ice
Shake until cool to the touch
Strain into a hurricane glass or Pina Colada glass
Provide a royal touch by rimming the glass with gold leaf

Be Our Guest – Belle’s Cocktail

25ml Vodka
25ml Lemon Juice
Top with prosecco
Garnish with lemon twist or crystallised whole edible rose petals

Shake the vodka and lemon in a cocktail shaker filled with ice
Shake mixture until cool to touch
Strain into Urban Bar Retro Cocktail glass for desired look
Finish by adding garnish

 The Red Dragon – Mulan’s Cocktail 

50ml Cherry Sourz
10ml Monin Grenadine Syrup
Lychee Juice

Pour 250ml of lychee juice in a Jazz sling glass
Add ice to the juice
Mix the Cherry Sourz and grenadine
Over the back of a bar spoon gently pour the mixture in
Try using our Mini Wooden Pegs to clip garnishes or decorations to your glassware
