Summer will be here before the end of this month. Let it arrive to find you ready to take advantage of all its potential for the kind of leisure time entertaining that makes memories. We’re talking the edible, quaffable kind of memory-making—and to be fair, when aren’t we on that wavelength?—you share with good company on a sunny afternoon in your backyard or a balmy evening on the beach. It’s no secret that drinking during the warmer months is all about frozen drinks, so Tussock Jumper Wines sent us this Moscato Frosé recipe made for pouring and passing as the temperature rises. Stir it up by the pitcher and sip chilled revelry all summer long.
Tussock Jumper Moscato Frosé
1 (750 ml.) bottle of Tussock Jumper Moscato Rosé
2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
¼ cup Organika vodka
1 tbs orange liqueur
1 tablespoon grenadine syrup
- Pour the rosé into ice cube trays and freeze until solid, 8 hours or overnight.
- Combine the strawberries and sugar in a blender and let sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes to macerate.
- Add the rosé ice cubes, vodka, orange liqueur, and syrup. Blend on high until smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish with strawberries, if desired.
