T’was the Cocktail Series Before Christmas: Night 11 of 12 – Mint Chocolate Fizz

We’re coming down to the wire in our nightly holiday cocktail series. Tomorrow night is the big night for li’l ones all around the world. Tonight, however, still belongs to us grown folks, albeit those of us who haven’t forgotten how to have fun. Case in point, this evening’s recipe: The Mint Chocolate Fizz. We’ve already seen a couple of instances of the limitless good that Godiva Chocolate Liqueur brings to the mixologist’s table. Combined with the subtle inebriation of vodka and cooling sweetness of Crème de Menthe White among other ingredients, it adds up to a recipe perfect for fireside indulgence on a snowy night.

Mint Chocolate Fizz
Peak 47 Lounge at Whiteface Lodge (Lake Placid, N.Y.)

  • 2 oz. vodka
  • 1 oz. Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
  • ½ oz. Crème de Menthe White
  • 1 oz. simple syrup
  • ½ oz. lemon juice
  • 1 egg white

Preparation: Add ingredients and shake without ice for 60 seconds. Then add ice and shake for another 60 seconds. Double strain into a highball glass. Top with club soda, and garnish with mint.
